BUBA GROUP started in 2015, boosted by four CEOs with more than 30 years of experience in the Seafood sector, joining
forces to create a business model based on quality, branding, sustainability and good practices.
BUBA GROUP Headquarters are located in the Port of Vigo (Spain) and involves 4 core business lines: BUBA CAMARÓN, BUBA MOROCCO, BUBA OMAN and BUBA TRADING.
BUBA CAMARÓN is our gourmet shellfish brand for both HORECA and retail channel, and also on-line direct sales to final consumer vía
our website.
All BUBA CAMARÓN products are wild caught and premium quality, such as our seafrozen scarlet shrimp or our cooked frozen
prawns.
Own fleet fishing and processing yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares) in the Gulf of Oman.
We also process our tuna products in Omani factories through joint-venture agreements to provide our clients with
tailor-made tuna products as per their own request (H&G, loins, bellies, fillets…).
Besides tuna, our portfolio includes a variety of products from Oman waters (large pelagic fish, cephalopods, spiny
lobster), with the quality control and first hand supervision from our staff in Oman.
BUBA GROUP has a strong presence in Morocco, running our own processing factories.
BUBA GROUP is processing cephalopods in 2 factories in Morocco with highly skilled staff, specialized mainly in cleaned
squid.
Our experience in processing cephalopods allows us to offer our clients maximum efficiency and a
raw material maximum yield to obtain a high quality end product.
BUBA GROUP´s factory specialized in processing IQF whole sardine (sardina pilchardus). All raw materials from daily
catch, received iced fresh, graded and deep-frozen to obtain a premium quality product.
IQF butterfly sardine fillets is another BUBA product, carefully elaborated from our best whole 8/14 sardine.
Our portfolio includes a wide range of products from Morocco: squid, cuttlefish, spiny lobster… Our strong and consolidated position in Morocco allows us to have first hand access to top quality products, selected, checked and quality-guaranteed by our staff.
Our trading branch is very well positioned at the major seafood origins through solid partnerships with shipowners and
factories in Latin America (mainly Peru, Argentina and Chile), Asia (China, Indonesia and india) and Europe.
Our headquarters are in Vigo, one of the largest seafood ports in Europe, that allows us to have direct access to the
products of Spanish fleet operating in the main fishing grounds (Argentina, Falkland Islands/Malvinas, NAFO, Sudáfrica, Namibia…).
